Delivery of your finished panels on the island of Oahu is free. We actually prefer to deliver, rather than having customers or their contractor pick up panels from the studio. This insures that the panels arrive undamaged. Stained glass is very resilient once installed, but very prone to damage when handled by someone inexperienced. This small service insures happy customers on delivery day.Delivery off the island of Oahu requires shipping, and we recommend air freight (insured, of course) to eliminate as much handling and sitting on docks and in warehouses as possible. Whatever shipping is finally decided upon, a strong custom- fitted crate will be required along with custom-fitted packing foam.
A particular challenge is determining if you will need a certain amount of privacy in a room or if there is a need for a separation from one room to another. Custom interior doors are important to house design since they can provide privacy and separation from one room to the next. Separation from the dining room to the living room can be accomplished through installation of doors as an example. It is easy to forget that doors break the design flow from one room to the next thereby affording you many possibilities in decorating. These examples of custom interior doors might spark the imagination of what is possible.

A new sliding glass door provides the energy efficiency, maintenance freedom, and security that all homeowners want; doors are Energy Star approved. There are options to have blinds installed between the glass. Several exterior colors and wood grain (interior) finishes to choose from.You can also convert most any window opening to a sliding glass door opening. This can be done cutting through brick, wood, or vinyl siding.Sliding glass doors can be manufactured in 2,3, or 4 panel configurations. Custom sizes also affordable and available.
The room dimensions were perfect for a theater with two rows. It’s also a windowless room. The glass doors added plenty of light and audio bounce, so they’d have to be replaced: we decided on exterior doors in order to reduce sound transfer. One problem was that the front of the room was only eight feet tall to allow for HVAC for the house (it can clearly be seen in the bottom left picture). In addition, the wet bar in the next room had a place for a full-sized refrigerator, which intrudes like a growth into this room.The refrigerator “bump” was a serious issue (see top right picture). Should it be removed and the screen be put on that wall, or kept so that the wet bar could have a refrigerator? In the end, we decided to leave it as an option for a refrigerator, and I had the idea to also use it for a half-rack for equipment. While the back of the room is nine feet, it still limits the height of the projector, the screen size, and the rear seating row height.
